:)Hi All: I will be attending a Centre County Genealogy Reunion the week of June 17th. Since I will be so close I will also be coming to Clearfield County. I am hoping to find a grave site for John BEIGHTOL (or whatever spelling was used). He died on 04 Jan 1908 according to his Pension file and was a disabled Civil War Vet. In 1900 he was living in Ward 1 in Dubois with his step-daughter's family (George Washington CONNER). I can probably only be one day in Clearfield County and I need some help. Does anyone have any suggestions? I understand that the Historical Society is only open a few hours on Thursdays and Sundays(?). Thank you all for any help, Ferne

For a $25 donation, a volunteer will open the museum and assist with reseach on days that we are not scheduled to be open. Call the museum at 814-765-6125 and ask for Bill on Thursday to set up an appointment. John Eightol may be buried in MOrningside Cemetery in DuBois. We will get back to you.
