My great-great grandfather (as well as his son, my great-grandfather) is buried in St. Agnes Church Cemetery in Morrisdale. He is buried in an unmarked grave close to the church (pointed out to me by a relative, now deceased). While my great-grandfather's grave is indeed marked and is duly recorded in St. Agnes' burial lists, neither tombstone nor burial record (in the church records) can be found for my great-great grandfather.
He died in about 1894, a few years after the church was founded. I called Strange & Weaver, the (only?) funeral home in Morrisdale (which is next door to the church & cemetery), but their records go back only as far as 1922. Does anyone know what funeral home(s) may have existed in Morrisdale in 1894 and where their records may have ended up?
Thanks.
