Hello! My grandfather, Thomas Berry, was a Morrisdale resident. I would be interested in any photos of Morrisdale from the 1930s through 1950s, especially any of Bailey's Store, Wrye's Tavern, or the houses across the road from Bailey's store or the Tavern. Can anyone tell me the name of "the Catholic cemetery" just outside Morrisdale? Also, the name of the road at the top of the hill in Morrisdale that intersects with Rt. 53 and goes out between the old Wrye's Tavern and Bailey's store buildings? Thanks for any help!

We do not have many Morrisdale photos at museum. However, there is a recently published history book on Clearfield County that has many Morris Township photos, history and a copy of letterhead from David Bailey's store in Morrisdale in 1925. Look under "NEW" on the clfdhistory.org web site for more information. Cathie
